The Intersectional Ecocide Tribunal

The Intersectional Ecocide Tribunal

FT Global Gallery - COP26 Edition - livestreamed over the duration of COP26

The Intersectional Ecocide Tribunal was commissioned by the FT Global Gallery - COP26 Edition, as a livestreamed performance over the duration of COP26. Generated by the public through sonifying Twitter, a sound within the IET was a charge against our world leaders for crimes against nature, but also an expression of resilience from those who experience climate change as something that compounds existing structures of injustice.

"The IET proposes a space where ecocide has been adopted as an international crime, where those committing ecocide are brought to account, and where climate justice is synonymous with social justice. Participants are invited to see and hear their messages become part of the Tribunal, by tweeting the full name of their world leader of choice, their message, and any of the following words: "COP26", "Ecocide", 'Climate Change", and "Climate Justice"."
